Chinese Ambassador Zhang and FinMin Wagle hold meeting, discuss cooperation on connectivity and AI

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Zhang Maoming, has paid a courtesy call on Finance Minister of Nepal, Dr Swarnim Wagle.

During the meeting held at the Finance Ministry on Thursday, Ambassador Zhang and Finance Minister Wagle discussed bilateral cooperation in various fields including banking, connectivity, tourism, and artificial intelligence (AI).

"We had a constructive exchange of views on bilateral cooperation in various fields, such as banking, connectivity, tourism, and artificial intelligence," reads the X message posted by Chinese Embassy in Nepal following.

The two dignitaries also discussed ways to bolster connectivity and promote the pragmatic, efficient, and sustainable growth of bilateral relations.

"We reaffirmed our shared commitment to strengthening connectivity and advancing the pragmatic, efficient and sustainable development of our bilateral relations," reads the X message posted by Ambassador Zhang.
