Nepali Congress has given a one-week deadline to renew active memberships and enter new memberships.
The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by the party's Membership Management Central Committee Coordinator and General Secretary Pradeep Paudel.
Acting Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal has given districts and regions a one-week deadline to register all membership and renewal fees within the central office system.
Dulal stated that Nepali Congress will only select districts for the 15th General Convention if their working committees have finalized renewals and submitted all new membership data—along with the required fees—to the central office via the digital system.
Similarly, Nepali Congress will maintain the online membership system for Public Relations Committees, in line with the framework established by the Central Committee.
According to Dulal, necessary arrangements have been made to provide Public Relations Committee membership and active membership of Congress for persons with Nepali citizenship, and in the case of others, arrangements have been made as per the Congress Statute 2017 (including the Eleventh Amendment).
In wards where the chairperson position is vacant, the district, regional, or ward working committees—along with central representatives—may authorize a designated individual to update active memberships in the digital system.
