Speaker Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal held discussions with the chief whips of all the parties represented in the House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday. There are six parties in the House of Representatives, including Shram Saskriti Party (SSP).
The Speaker's Secretariat has informed that the chief whips discussed issues including the parliamentary procedures and the role of MPs during the meeting.
The whips of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Shram Sanstriti Party, Nepali Communist Party, CPN-UML, Nepali Congress and Rastriya Swatatra Party were present during the meeting.
The Speaker held these discussions as the budget session is approaching. The government must present the budget in the parliament on upcoming May 29 (Jestha 15).
