Nepali Congress parliamentary party (PP) leader Bhishma Raj Angdembe has said that the parliamentary committee has fallen into a state of indecision due to the Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
Addressing the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday, leader Angdembe questioned Prime Minister Shah's behavior. On Monday, Prime Minister Shah walked out while President Ram Chandra Paudel was presenting the government's policies and programs.
Leader Angdembe questioned this. "The Speaker's conscience should have arranged things. Why wasn't it done? The House could have been made dignified. That, too, didn't happen, it's a pity," he said.
Similarly, he also raised the issue of the State Affairs Committee. Meanwhile, he lashed out at Prime Minister Shah, who is also heading the Home Ministry, for not attending the meeting.
"The State Affairs Committee meeting is not being held. The Prime Minister, who is also taking charge of the Home Ministry, should have been present in that committee," Angdembe said.
He stressed that the Home Minister should answer the committee about the problems faced by the people. However, he said that a decision could not be made because Shah, who is also the Home Minister, was not present.
“He is hesitant to even give an answer,” Angdembe said, “The State Affairs Committee is becoming a prisoner of indecision.”
