Opp'n parties team up against PM Balen's controversial remarks

Leader of the Nepali Congress parliamentary party, Bishma Raj Angdembey, has called a meeting of opposition parties at the NC parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar today.

Leader Angdembey's Secretariat has informed that the situation arising after Prime Minister Balendra Shah made the statement 'Nepal has also encroached on India's land' in the House of Representatives on Sunday will be discussed at the meeting.

Leader Angdembey has called the leaders of CPN-UML, Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Shram Sanskriti Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) to the meeting.

The meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled to convene at 1:00pm and that of the National Assembly at 1:15pm today. The main opposition party has called all opposition parties for a meeting before the meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament.
