Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has landed in New Delhi on Monday afternoon.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Arun Singh and Foreign Department Chief Vijay Chauthaiwale welcomed Lamichhane upon his arrival at the Indira Gandhi Airport in New Delhi.

Lamichhane flew to India for a five-day official visit at the invitation of BJP President Nitin Nabin. The delegation accompanying Lamichhane includes his wife Nikita, RSP Joint General Secretary Bipin Acharya, Secretariat member Deepak Bohora and Personal Secretary Pradip Acharya.

During his stay in New Delhi, President Lamichhane will hold meetings with top BJP leadership, interact with the Nepali diaspora and party well-wishers living in India, and also visit the historic city of Ayodhya, according to the Foreign Ministry.

The visit is expected to strengthen ties between the emerging political forces of Nepal and India. Discussions will focus on mutual cooperation, diplomatic engagement, and address the concerns of the Nepali community living in India, according to a delegation member.
