A five-point rule has been introduced for the election process under the first general convention of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Chitwan.
According to a notice issued by Bhuwan KC, the head of the RSP Central Election Commission, the proposers and supporters of any candidate will not be barred from becoming candidates in the election.
RSP has stated that if the nomination form is registered against this rule of the party's Election Commission, the candidacy will automatically be disqualified.
The commission has also specified the number of proposers and seconders for various positions.
According to which, 1 proposer and 51 supporters have been made mandatory for the candidacy of the party president, while 1 proposer and 21 supporters will be required for other office-bearers and central committee members.
The rule states that the names, contact numbers and signatures of the proposers and supporters must be submitted while filing the candidacy.
