Often sleep late? Read this

With the rush hour hustle in urban cities, we often tend to relax only after we reach home and go to bed after the supper. The main activities we prefer to do is check our phones, see social media, read books or even call our dear ones. While these activities make us smile or occupied for sometime or even longer in many cases, sleeping late can be detrimental for our daily life. Especially, when one is a hustler.

Here are a few reasons why it's important to avoid sleeping late:

Disrupts our circadian rhythm
Our bodies have an internal clock that regulates our sleep-wake cycle, also known as our circadian rhythm. When we stay up late, we disrupt this natural rhythm, making it harder for our bodies to fall asleep at a reasonable time the next night. This can lead to a cycle of insomnia and fatigue.

Affects our mood
Lack of sleep can lead to irritability, anxiety, and depression. It can also affect our ability to concentrate and make decisions, which can have serious implications for our work and personal lives.

Increases the risk of health problems
Chronic sleep deprivation has been linked to a number of health problems, such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. It can also weaken our immune system, making us more susceptible to illnesses.

Can lead to accidents
Drowsy driving can be just as dangerous as drunk driving. People who don't get enough sleep are more likely to fall asleep at the wheel and cause accidents.

Can lead to poor performance
Whether it's in school, work, or other activities, lack of sleep can lead to poor performance. It affects memory, creativity, and critical thinking, and can make it harder to achieve our goals.

Sleeping late at night can have serious consequences for our physical, mental and emotional well-being. It's important to establish a regular sleep schedule and get enough quality sleep to maintain our overall health and well-being.
