All the government websites have been hit due to server down. With the server glitches, the landing and take-off of flight services have also been disrupted.

The Home Ministry has been informed for the resumption of the websites, said Prem Nath Thakur, the General Manager of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

The websites of all the government offices including that of the Office of the President and the Office of the Prime Minister are not functioning.

“The server of the Immigration Department is down. It’s been one and a half hours. Both the arrival and departure services have been shut down,” said Thakur.

Passengers at the TIA have been stranded for one and a half hours due to server glitches, said he.

“We have requested the Ministry of Home Affairs to fix the server as soon as possible,” said he, “We are hopeful of early resumption.”

With the server glitches, the international flight services have been hit for hours.
