A team comprising Chinese Ambassador Song, DPM Narayan Kaji Shrestha, and KMC Mayor Shah inspecting the site of Ring Road construction.

A team comprising Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song, Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah among others have inspected the second phase of Ring Road expansion drive.

The team of high-ranking officials reached the site after the road expansion drive slowed to a snail pace.

To be financed by China, Chinese Company has not started the construction work citing the lack of site clearance.

Even though the electric polls and trees have been removed, there are two temples at two different places.

The China side had lodged a complaint at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport saying that locals are creating obstacles in the road construction work.

Physical Infrastructure Secretary Keshav Prasad Sharma and Nepal Electricity Authority Managing Director Kulman Ghising were also present in the inspection team.
