Al Nassr defeated Damac 3-0 to move to the top of the Saudi Pro League on Saturday thanks to three goals from Cristiano Ronaldo.
In order to secure victory, Ronaldo scored in the 18th, 23rd, and 44th minutes. Since joining Al Nassr, he has already scored seven goals in five outings.
As Al Ittihad and Al Raed drew 0-0 on Thursday, Al Nassr knew that three points would put them in first place.
Ibrahim Al-Nakhli, the captain of Damac, was penalized for handball, and Ronaldo scored the game's first goal from the spot.
During a quick counterattack, Ronaldo scored with his left foot five minutes later to double Al Nassr's lead.
A minute before halftime, Ronaldo finished Abdulrahman Ghareeb's outside-of-the-foot ball to complete his hat trick.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward battled to contain Rudi Garcia's team in the second half and had a fourth goal disallowed for offside. Damac had not won in four games.
