The Australia government has offered the Australian Nepalese Multicultural Center (ANMC) AUD 300,000 for the promotion of Nepali cultures.
President of ANMC Rajesh Acharya in a zoom meeting said the Nepali the ANMC has received AUD 281,587 from the Australian government.
Earlier, the ANMC had submitted a proposal with to the Victoria government asking for a grant to build infrastructures for the promotion of Nepali cultures.
Approving the proposal, Minister for Multicultural Affairs Ros Spence announced the grant assistance to construct a building in Duncans Lane.
Minister Spencer congratulated the ANMC saying that the grant assistance was extended to promote social goodwill and cultures of the Nepali community.
The ANMC will have to build a temple, stupa, meditation center and a public toilet within a year as per the deal.
