Nepal won the toss and elected to field against UAE in a tri-series as part of the ICC World Cup League 2 underway at Dubai International Stadium on Thursday.
Sandeep reached the UAE on Wednesday night after the ban on going abroad was lifted with the order of the Supreme Court. He has been included in the squad against UAE on Thursday.
The playing XI against UAE includes Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh, Gyanendra Mall, Rohit Paudel, Aarif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airee, Kushal Mall, Sompal Kami, Sandeep Lamichhane, Karan KC and Gulsan Jha.
Lamichhane has replaced Pratish GC. Nepal defeated Papua New Guinea (PNG) in the first match by four wickets on Monday.
Nepal will have to win six out of remaining seven matches to qualify for the World Cup.
