Nepal set a 249-run target for UAE in the ongoing match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as part of the ICC Men's World Cup League-2 triangular series.
Electing to bat firt after winning the toss at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal notched up 248 runs in 49.2 overs losing all wickets.
Captain Rohit Poudel topped the score with 77 runs including nine fours off 112 deliveries. Similarly, Aarif Sheikh hit 43 runs including five fours off 52 deliveries while Gulsan Jha made 37 runs off 32 balls.
In reply, Aayan Afzal Khan, Zahoor Khan, Rohan Mustafa and Zawar Farid took wickets each for UAE.
