A complaint has been registered in the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority CIAA, saying that Rabi Lamichhane, President of the Rashtriya Swatnatra Party (RSP), was given immunity on the basis of power in the passport case.

Yubaraj Safal, who reached the Supreme Court through the Ministry of Home Affairs and reached the Supreme Court regarding Rabi's citizenship and passport, filed a complaint against the officers and employees of the District Police Complex, Kathmandu, the District Public Prosecutor's Office Kathmandu, the High Public Prosecutor's Office, Patan and the Attorney General's Office.

He informed that a complaint has been registered on Sunday, demanding action to the extent that the accused has been acquitted by abuse of authority.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal alleged that Lamichhane was acquitted in the passport misuse case for a vote of confidence.

He also said that he will file a writ in the Supreme Court against the decision made by the Attorney General's office to acquit him of the government case in order to preserve power despite the fact that he had made and misused a Nepali passport while he was still an American citizen.

Issuing a statement, he has said that he will go to the Supreme Court again with a writ as he was acquitted without a court trial.
