Two Nepalis stuck in Larke Pass snow rescued

Two Nepali nationals who got stuck in the snow while heading to Larke Pass in Gorkha have been rescued.

After receiving information that two people were trapped in the snow, they were rescued by the police with the help of local people.

Saurabh Khanal and Anita Ghale of Nawalpur Kawasoti, who were walking to Larke Pass on Wednesday, were rescued by the police on Thursday morning.

According to Leelaraj Lamichhane, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Gorkha, they have been rescued and kept at a place called Dharmashala.

"He was rescued and brought to a place called Dharmashala. We have received information that a helicopter has been ordered from Kathmandu in coordination with the Chief District Officer.'' Lamichhane said.

DSP Lamichhane said that their health condition is stable.
