Chief Minister of Bagmati Province Shalik Ram Jamkattel has received the vote of confidence.
Chief Minister Jamkattel obtained 67 votes from four parties including Nepali Congress.
According to sources, Nepali Congress, CPN (Unified Socialist), Harmo Nepali Party and CPN (Maoist Center) gave the vote of confidence to Jamkattel.
CPN (UML), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) did not vote for him.
In the 110-member Province Assembly, the Congress has 37 lawmakers, Maoist Center has 21, Unified Socialist seven and Hamro Nepali Party has two seats.
The required number of lawmakers to secure the vote of confidence is 56.
