Brothers and sisters have observed Bhaitika today. It is customary for sisters to put tika and lay floral garlands on their brothers today. In return, brothers give Dakshina and gifts to their sisters.
But those who do not have sisters and brothers come to Balagopaleshwar temple in the middle of Ranipokhari in Kathmandu and wear Bhaitika.
A lot of people thronged Balagopaleshwar temple today to wear Bhaitika.
