Hacker trying to hack Nepali Army’s website held

A hacker who tried to gain an unauthorized access to the website of the Nepali Army has been arrested.

Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police arrested one person for his alleged involvement in the cyber attack.

According to the Deputy Director of the Bureau, SP Pashupati Kumar Rai, a 21-year-old Sagar Dhakal of Walling Municipality -10, Syangja, currently staying at Pokhara Metropolitan City-16 Batulechaur, has been arrested for his involvement in the cyber-attack.

The Nepali Army had sent a letter to the Bureau for necessary investigation and action saying that there was an attack on its cyber space.

The police identified the person involved in the cyber-attack based on technical analysis and human intelligence.
