RSP Chair Lamichhane’s driver falls off house roof, injured

The driver of Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and electoral candidate for Chitwan 2, fell from the roof of a three-story house and sustained serious injuries.

Dil Bahadur Thapa alias Shambu, the driver of Lamichhane, fell from the roof of the house where Lamichhane stays in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11 at around 4 am today.

District Police Office Chitwan spokesperson Bijaya Raj Pandit said that 39-year-old Shambhu of Sindhupalchok Bahrabise Municipality-3 suffered leg and head injuries when he fell off the roof.

Spokesperson Pandit said that Thapa was admitted to the old medical college and was being treated for serious injuries. The police said that the incident is being investigated.

It was revealed that RSP General Secretary Mukul Dhakal's driver was also sleeping on the roof of the house along with Shambu.
