Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has today extended greetings on the occasion of Eid (Eid-ul-Fitr), the great festival of Muslims.
While issuing Eid greetings, the Prime Minister expressed his wishes for happiness, peace, good health, long life, prosperity, and continuous progress to the followers of Islam at home and abroad as well as to all Nepalis.
Stating that Eid is the biggest and most important festival of the Islamic community, Prime Minister Prachanda said that it is celebrated as an important opportunity for mutual harmony, cooperation, trust and achieving common goals.
In his congratulatory message, the Prime Minister said, "Eid is not just for a particular community but for the entire Nepali society, which has multi-ethnic, multilingual and multicultural characteristics."
Festivals have been developed and established through the cumulative process of experience, education and knowledge acquired by human beings during their lifetime. Eid is also such a festival, which represents the historicity, identity and culture of the Muslim community.
The Prime Minister said that the new constitution created by the long sacrifices and sacrifices of the Nepali people has provided equal constitutional rights to all castes, languages, religions, cultures and identities along with the assimilation of the diverse Nepali society.
In this process, he also mentioned that it is a national responsibility to strengthen national independence and self-respect through strong national unity by firmly implementing the rights as provided in the constitution. He said, "The current government is determined to achieve the goals of social justice, good governance, and prosperity through the systematic implementation of constitutional rights."
Finally, Prime Minister Prachanda has expressed his belief that the Eid festival will provide more inspiration in the national campaign to build a strong national unity, advanced and prosperous Nepal through the effective implementation of the Constitution.
