A total of 10 parliamentary thematic committees of the House of Representatives (HoR) under the Federal Parliament have been formed.
In the HoR meeting convened on Friday, Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced the name-list of the lawmakers of parliamentary thematic committees.
The parliamentary thematic committees have been formed in accordance with the House of Representatives Regulation, 2079 endorsed by the House of Representatives.
The parliamentary thematic committees include Finance Committee, International Relations and Tourism Committee, Industry, Commerce, Labor and Consumer Interest Committee, Law and Human Rights Committee, Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee, Women and Social Welfares Committee, State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, Infrastructure and Development Committee, Education and Information Technology Committee and Public Account Committee.
Ghimire presented the name-list of members to be nominated in the thematic committees today.
