The Public Service Commission (PSC) has recalled the applications after it failed to recover the lost data of the applicants.

The data on the applicants aspiring public service on various posts through PSC exams were lost from integrated data centre of the government.

Information officer at PSC, Devi Prasad Subedi, informed that PSC called again the applications from job aspirants due to data loss on March 7.

"Although data recovery process was continued since then, it is not sure when the data will be recovered and to what amount," he said, adding that as the prior notice on vacancy could not be left unaddressed, the PSC on April 27 decided to call for the applications again to forward the process.

The application is recalled for the vacancy announcements made in Mangsir, Poush and Magh months.

The announcements were made for the posts of section officer and nayab subba. The applications are sought within June 1.
