President Ram Chandra Paudel has appointed Padma Prasad Pandey as the Secretary of the House of Representatives and Dr. Surendra Aryal as the Secretary of the National Assembly on Thursday.
President Paudel appointed Pandey on the recommendation of the Speaker of the House of Representatives and Dr. Aryal on the recommendation of the Chairman of the National Assembly as Secretary in accordance with Article 106 of the Constitution.
Pandey, who was working as a deputy attorney general in the Office of the Attorney General, and Dr. Aryal, who was working as a joint secretary in the Federal Parliament Secretariat, have been appointed as secretaries by the President, according to Dasharath Dhamala, assistant spokesperson of the parliament secretariat.
Pandey, who entered as the deputy attorney from the government lawyer group, has previous experience of working in the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, while Dr. Aryal has been working as the secretary at the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives for a long time.
