Prez discussing stalled citizenship bill with legal experts

President Ram Chandra Paudel is going to discuss with legal experts today (Sunday) about the bill to amend the Nepal Citizenship Act, 2063, which has been stalled in the President's office.

The President's Office has informed that President Paudel is scheduled to consult with legal experts on the status of the Citizenship Bill, which has been stalled at the President's Office at 1:00 p.m.

The Citizenship Bill, which was passed twice by the Parliament, has been stopped at the President's Office when the then President Bidya Devi Bhandari did not certify it.
