NRNA's 15th Regional Conference concludes in Czech Republic

The 15th Regional Conference of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has today concluded in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. 

Present in the three-day conference were Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Prakash Saud, CPN (UML) leader Subas Nembang, chief whip of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party, Ramesh Lekhak, Rastriya Swatantra Party lawmaker Manish Jha, and CPN (Maoist Centre) leader and lawmaker Khimlal Devkota, among others.

The meeting discussed the issues like smart NRNA, NRNA membership distribution, election process and statute, and a network with the National Coordination Council (NCC).

Similarly, other matters discussed in the meeting were the NCC report, women's conference, unity between NRNA, NRNA mega project, Rs 10 billion investment for Nepal's prosperity, continuation of Nepali citizenship, right of vote for Nepalis residing abroad, the social security fund, and the handover of skills, knowledge and technology acquired by Nepali immigrants.

The conference attended by around 300 representatives from 39 countries issued a 14-point declaration, it has been said.
