FM Saud leaving for Bangladesh today

Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud is going to Bangladesh today to attend the '6th Indian Ocean Conference 2023'.

Foreign Minister Saud, who returned home on Wednesday after attending the coronation of British King Charles III, is going to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, on Friday.

His personal secretary Deepak Kumar Joshi informed that Minister Saud is now scheduled to leave for Dhaka at 11 am to participate in the conference to be held to discuss the main agenda of 'Peace, Prosperity and Cooperation for a Stronger Future of the Indian Ocean Region'.

The conference, jointly organized by the Ministry of External Affairs of India, the India Foundation and the Ministry of External Affairs of Bangladesh, will last for two days.

During that period, Foreign Minister Saud told Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar and Bangladesh President Sheikh Hasina are also scheduled to meet, according to his secretariat.
