Police have been busting the racket sending people to the United States identifying them as the Bhutanese refugee. Over a dozen of people have been arrested in connection to the scam including some high-profile individuals.

The PM assured the RPP team that there will not be any influence of pressure in the ongoing investigation into the scam.

Stating that the incumbent government was fully committed for the implementation of the good-governance, prosperity and constitution, Dahal said that he will not give into any pressure or influence regarding the scam.

Talking to media persons after submitting the memo to the PM, RPP Chair Lingden shared that they had drawn the attention of the PM towards impartial investigation into the fake Bhutanese refugee scam.

The PM acknowledged the memo and assured there will not be any error regarding the investigation into the scam, said Lingden, quoting the PM as saying.
