Himal Khabarpatrika, a popular monthly Nepali langue news magazine, has been closed 25 years after its launch.
Himalmedia Pvt. Ltd. has informed that the magazine has been closed forever with the cover issue of the Nepali month Jestha (May 15-June 15) titled 'Kohi kina Dhani-Garib?'
Kanak Mani Dixit, the publisher of Himalmedia Pvt Ltd, has said that Himal Khabarpatrika has taken a break from the Jestha issue.
"We regret to share a sad news with our valued readers that Himal Khabarpatrika will take a break starting the Jestha issue, 2080," Dixit said in a publisher’s note, "Thank you to the entire magazine team, including Rabin Giri, who led the Himal Khabarpatrika, and to all the writers and columnists who considered our pages their own."
Dixit said that the online edition of Himal Khabarpatrika will continue.
