The main opposition CPN (UML) has stated that it will not allow the policies and programs presented by the government to be passed through the parliament.

UML Chairman and Parliamentary Party (PP) leader KP Sharma Oli has said that his party will not allow the policies and programs introduced by the government for the next fiscal year to be passed through the Parliament.

Speaking at the party's parliamentary party (PP) meeting held at the Federal Parliament Building, in New Baneshwar on Saturday, he maintained that the government could not accept or support it as the government had not brought policies and programs to guide the country in the right direction.

"It does not lead the country in a proper direction, now does it specify any destination. Where will you get this year?," asks  Oli.

Oli vehemently stated his party will not allow it to be passed through the parliament arguing that the policies and programs presented by the government will not steer the country properly.

"A few things have been taken from the old policies and programs. It has nothing new. Hence, not acceptable," said Oli.

Chairman Oli said that the government's policies and programs are unclear, confused and directionless.
