CPN (UML) Secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has accepted the connection with five individuals arrested in the case of fake Bhutanese refugees.
He admitted connections with Sanu Bhandari, Keshav Dulal, Dr. Indrajit Rai, Teknarayan Pandey and Bal Krishna Khand.
In his statement to the police, he has said that Bhandari is a neighbor and that he met Dulal when he went to Congress leader Sujata Koirala's house.
As a party leader, he had regular contact with Secretary Teknarayan Pandey since he hails from the same district.
He revealed that he used to meet with Indrajit Rai during party work. He said that Congress central working committee member Bal Krishna Khand has been a friend since student politics.
In the statement, he said that he had no idea of the fraud in the case of fake refugees.
