Two held for ‘operating flesh trade’ in Dailekh

Police have arrested two individuals on the charge of running a flesh trade sex in Dailekh.

The District Police Office, Dailekh, apprehended two hoteliers for operating the flesh trade in the hotel in the district headquarters.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kishor Lamsal, the 40-year-old Tirtha Prasad Neupane, owner of the Jwalamukhi Hotel, and the 30-year-old Dipendra Katuwal, owner of the Aarti Hotel, were arrested for their involvement in the illegal trade.

Neupane, who hails from Narayan Municipality-8 Dhaka, was arrested by the police from the hotel on Tuesday based on a tip-off that he was operating a sex business in his own hotel.

Similarly, DSP Lamsal informed that the owner of Aarti Hotel, Katuwal, was arrested on Wednesday based on the information that he was also running a sex business in his hotel.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking Neupane and Kautwal on a remand from District Court Dailekh.
