Areas including Budhanilkantha to Kapan Milanchowk, Gopikrishna Hall and Saraswatinagar have been inundated due to the heavy rains that occurred this afternoon in the Kathmandu Valley.
Every year, floods incur a lot of damages to the houses in these areas of the Valley.
According to locals, houses have been flooded in the area from Milanchowk to Durga Temple in Kapan.
Nepali Congress Member of Parliament (MP) Gagan Kumar Thapa, who was elected from the same area, had earlier complained that he had to face lot of criticisms due to the recurring floods in Kapan.
