All aboard the missing Manang Air chopper were Mexican nationalas

It has been revealed that all the five people aboard the Manang Air helicopter with the 9N AMV call sign that went missing from Lamajura in Solukhumbu on Tuesday morning were Mexican nationals.

The Central Spokesperson of Nepal Police, Kuber Kadayat, informed that the passengers in the chopper were Mexican nationals.

This helicopter took off from Surke helipad in Solukhumbu for Kathmandu at 10:05 am and lost contact after 8 minutes.

A police team is heading towards the accident site after the locals reported that the plane had crashed near Lamajura.

According to Koshi Province Police Chief DIG Rajeshnath Bastola, a team headed by ASI has left for the accident after being informed by the locals.
