Gagan Thapa proposes to add 22 more departments, form by Sept 1

Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has proposed to add new departments in the party.

Thapa proposed to add 22 new departments while submitting an organizational proposal in the central working committee (CWC) meeting held after 11 months.

The Congress now has 48 departments.

In the meeting, Thapa proposed that the departments should be formed by September 1 and its report should be presented to the CWC in the period of two weeks.

"All the departments should be formed by September 1 and presented to the working committee in the period of two weeks in line with the party statute," Thapa said while presenting the proposal.

Besides, Thapa proposed that the CWC will monitor the department's activities throughout the year.
