India and England are locking their horns in the second semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup underway in Australia on Thursday.

The match between India and England is scheduled to take place at 1:45 pm (according to Nepali time) at the Adelaide Oval Cricket Ground in Adelaide, Australia.

Both the teams have won the title of T20 World Cup one time each so far.

India reached the semi-final as the winner of group ‘B’ and England as the runners-up of group ‘A’.
Both teams lost one match each in the group stage. India lost to South Africa while England faced a defeat on the hands of Ireland.

The winner in today’s match will face Pakistan in the final on Sunday.

The final match will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia on November 13.

England
In the ongoing World Cup, England team look balanced and strong. Beating England in such conditions will definitely be a tough job for India.

England's batting line-up is strong point in Thursday's match. Openers Jos Buttler and Alex Hales have been performing well in recent matches.

Similarly, Ben Stokes has also been contributing well in batting. Meanwhile, Liam Livingstone, Moeen Ali and Harry Brook have been handling the middle-order batting excellently.

England can reach the final if they can recognize some of the weaknesses of the India’s team in Thursday's match. Indian captain Rohit Sharma has scored only 89 runs in this World Cup. Similarly, KL Rahul is also struggling to score runs.

The batting of the Indian team seems largely dependent on Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav. Similarly, along with Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant have not been able to show much impact. If they move ahead strategically keeping these weaknesses in mind, England can book their place in the final.

India
Having qualified for the semi-finals as the winner of group ‘B’, India will take to the field on Thursday with a high morale. India are planning to make the final a high profile by defeating England in today's match.

The strongest point for India in this World Cup is their main player staying in shape. Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli, who are the important players of the Indian team, have been contributing significantly to the team. Despite some problems in power-play and spin bowling, the team have been making good totals overall.

Similarly, India's Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh are performing very brilliantly in bowling, which, could turn out to be a headache for England's batting.

England bowlers Mark Wood and David Malan are injured. They are unlikely to join Thursday's game that would benefit India.

Based on India's previous performance against England, India are likely to dominate Thursday's match. Although these two teams have not competed in the T20 World Cup since 2012, India have been dominating in the bilateral series.

India have won the last four T20I series against England. Out of which two series were won at home and two abroad.

India have beaten England in four of their last five T20 matches with a wide margin of victory.
