Nepali scientist Mahabir Pun puts medals for sale

Nepali scientist Mahabir Pun has put for sale his medals received from foreign countries after he was not allowed to sell his medals received from Nepal.

Pun announced to sell his medals on Thursday on the occasion of Janai Purnima festival, stating that today is an auspicious day.

The price of the medals has been fixed at Rs 2 million to 2.5 million.

Pun has said that these medals presented by different countries will come handy for museums or houses of individuals.

With the money received by selling the medals, he said that he will install an electrical transformer with the capacity of 300 to 500 kVA to run an agricultural tool factory in Birgunj before Dashain.

Medals put for sale
1. Honor Graduate Medal received in the USA in 1992

2. Ramon Magsaysay Award Medal received in the Philippines in 2007

3. Internet Hall of Fame received in America in 2014
