Asia Cup: Nepal sets 231-target for India

Nepal has set a 231-run target for India at the 5th match of the Asia Cup underway at the Pallekele Cricket Stadium in Kandy, Sri Lank on Monday.

Aasif Sheikh topped the score with 58 runs including eight fours off 97 deliveries. Similarly, Sompal Kami hit 48 runs including one four and two sixes off  56 balls.

Kushal Bhurtel made 38 runs including two fours and two sixes off 25 balls.  Dipendra Singh Airee collected 29 runs while Gulsan Jha contributed 23 runs. The other batsmen couldn't score double-digit runs. 

In reply, Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja climed three wickets each giving away 61 and 40 runs, respectively. 

Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur took one wicket each for India.
