The police have made public a 23-year-old man accused in the killing of four people in Gairigaun, Tinkune, Kathmandu on Friday night.
In a press meet organized on Sunday, the Metropolitan Police Range, Teku, made public Sanjay Bhandari, 23, of Bahrabise Municipality-9, Sindhupalchowk, after arrest on the basis of a CCTV footage.
According to the police, Bhandari confessed to the killing of four people by storming into Divya Sawmill.
The bodies of two men and two women were found murdered at Divya Sawmill in Gairigaun in the wee hours on Saturday.
Initially, the police took Dipendra Rai into custody who reached the Police Circle in a blood-stained clothes, New Baneshwar by taxi. The police had formed a three-member investigation committee to probe the incident.
Kumar Bhujel,55, his wife 50-year-old Ambika Bhujel, Kumar's mother Shubhadra Bhujel, 76, of Kalinchowk-8, Dolakha and Nabin Rai, a 20-year-old youth from Morang Belbari, were gruesomely murdered at Divya Sawmill in Gairigaun on Friday night.
