Nepal is batting against Oman after winning the toss in the final match of the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup Asia Qualifier underway at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Nepal has made 35 runs in five overs losing one wicket so far.
In the semi-final, Nepal defeated UAE by 8 wickets to confirm a meeting with Oman. Similarly, Oman came close to the title by clinching a 10-wicket win against Bahrain.
Both Nepal and Oman have already qualified for the T20 World Cup by winning their semi-final matches. The T20 World Cup will be held in the West Indies and the United States of America in 2024.
Today's match is also a battle of prestige for both Nepal and Oman teams.
Earlier, in the last match of the group stage, Nepal had lost to Oman by 5 runs and played the semi-final as the group runner-up.
