The match between Denmark and Tunisia under group ‘D’ has started at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayan, Qatar on Tuesday.
Denmark is comparatively a strong team. Tuesday's game is very crucial for both the teams as these teams are unlikely to beat France in their next group match.
Therefore, it will be important for both the teams to win today's match to reach the knockout stage.
In the next match, FIFA's 38th-ranked Australia is also a tough opponent for both of them. So a win on Tuesday could be decisive for reaching the upper stage.
Denmark's biggest achievement so far is reaching the quarter-finals in the World Cup match held in 1998.
Denmark participated in the World Cup for the first time in 1986. Denmark, who had made a trip to the last 16 of the World Cup, also made a trip to the last 16 in 2002.
Having failed to qualify for the World Cup in 2006 and 2014, Denmark were eliminated in the group stage in 2010 and in the last 16 in 2018.
Denmark have won nine and drawn five out of 20 World Cup matches.
