Nagarik Bachau Mahaabhiyan led by medical practitioner Durga Prasai has also demonstrated in Kathmandu on Monday.
The demonstration comprising religious leaders was held at Gaushala in Kathmandu. The protest converged into a corner meeting, the police used force to control the situation. Earlier, the Prasai group staged demonstrations at Balkhu, and Sifal in Kathmandu.
The campaign led by medical practitioner Durga Prasai has been taking place in the federal capital since last November 23.
