PM Dahal and Indian PM Modi meet on sidelines of COP-28

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' who is Dubai held a brief meeting with Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, during the inaugural session of the COP28, on Friday.

During the meeting, two leaders discussed the impact of earthquake that hit western region of Nepal, according a press statement issued by the Embassy of Nepal Abu Dhabi.

Indian Prime Minister Modi expressed his readiness to provide necessary support to quake victims.

Prime Minister Dahal also had a bilateral meeting with Mr. Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel y Bermúdez, the Chairman of G77 and China and the President of the Republic of Cuba.

The two leaders discussed bilateral as well as multilateral cooperation and ways to mitigate the impact of climate change and ensure financial resources for the most vulnerable countries.
