RSP’s Toshima elected HoR member from Lalitpur-3

Dr. Toshima Karki of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Lalitpur-3.

She defeated Amrit Khadka of CPN-UML by a margin of 18,173 votes. Karki garnered 31,136 votes while her contender received 12,963 votes.

Similarly, Pampha Bhusal of CPN (Maoist Center) got 8,769 votes. 

Meanwhile, the supporters of Toshima have taken out a rally at Jawalakhel area of Lalitpur to celebrate her victory.

Medical doctor by profession, she, as a lawmaker, now will involve in the job of enacting laws and formulating policies.
