Samriddi and The BSM Band which was established in 2020 with the aim of promoting Nepali folk music and culture through entertainment is highly popular among the youth. The band’s composition, which revolves round the theme of love and unity, is blended with Nepali modern instruments such as drum, keyboard, and bass guitar. It covers various genres including pop, modern, folk, etc. Samriddi and The BSM Band is also involved in social services by raising funds through events and donating for the needy.
Band’s historical background
Prior to the establishment of the band, the band members were doing their performance as a solo artist and were also associated with other various bands. During the pandemic period of Covid -19, they collaborated organizing virtual concerts from their own home and entertained people through social media platforms. This helped them earn huge number of fan followers. The Band members include Samriddi Pariyar (Lead Vocalist), Baibhav Bikarm Pariyar (Keyboardist), Sandesh Mali (Drummer) and Manish Sunam (Bass Guitarist).
Samriddi Pariyar (Lead Vocalist)
Samriddi pariyar is a young talented singer of Nepal. She belongs to a musical background family where her father is a renowned theater artist, actor, singer and her mother is a singer. Samriddi grew up listening to Nepali songs where she developed interest in music in her early age and aspired to become a singer. She is founded semi- classical music, pop song and modern songs. In the year 2071 she won the first prize in " Baal Geet Singing Competition" organized by Radio Nepal. Her musical journey began with the popular reality singing The Voice Kids Season-1. Her remarkable performance won the heart of judges and audiences to show her hidden talent globally.
Samriddi Pariyar has collaborated with renowned artists of Nepal including Rajesh Rayal Rai, Pramod Kharel, Pratap Das and many more. She wants to help the needy and the children deprived of education through her singing.
Baibhav Bikram Pariyar (Keyboardist)
Baibhav Bikram Pariyar is a reputed musician of Nepal. He has made a mark on popular reality shows by playing his keyboard. Having brought up in a musical background family his love for playing instrument started in his early childhood. He completed his diploma course in Tabala from Allahabad, India. Baibhav has knowledge in the various instruments such as keyboard, madal, tabala, guitar, dholak and drums.
Pariyar has collaborated with popular shows such as Comedy Club with Champions, Comedy Club, HImalaya Lok Star, Tritha Kumari Ekal Saanjh, Jetsen Doma Lama Live Show, Indian Idol Singer Vineet Singh, Nikhita Thapa, Madan Krishna Shrestha Ekal Saanjh, NTV Anniversary, Mero Voice Universe Grand Finale and Singing Super Star. Baibhav Bikram Pariyar is associated with Samriddi and The BSM Band from its establishment.
Sandesh Mali (Drummer)
Sandesh Mali is a reputed musician from Nepal. He started his career as a musician at the age of 7. He is often hired as a freelancer musician. Sandesh Mali is involved in various local bands such as Zombies, Apple Discord, Hiccups, among others. He has given brilliant performance on various charity shows such as Nepal Music Festival, Jhankar TV show which used to get telecast from NTV.
Sandesh Mali has also worked as a freelancer musician where he was hired for the popular reality shows such as Nepal Idol Season 3, The Voice of Nepal Season 2, Psalam Unplugged, Tritha Kumari Ekal Saanjh, performance with Mayor Balen Shah and many more. Currently, he is working in Sampada School as a music teacher. Sandesh Mali is associated with Samriddi and The BSM Band since its establishment.
Manish Sunam (Bass Guitarist)
Manish Sunam is a popular musician from Nepal. He started his journey as a musician in 2013. He is highly demanded musician in the popular reality show and live shows as a Bass Guitarist. Manish has collaborated with many backup bands such as Octave, Hiccups, Kalakarmi, Adaptor Sandy Sax and the fusionist. He has shared the same stage with Mayor Balen Shah, Indian Idol Vineet Singh the winner of Indian Idol, Carnival Festival, World Link Event, Ncell street concerts, among others, as bass guitarist. Manish is associated with Samriddi and The BSM Band since its establishment.
