Serbia and Cameroon, who suffered defeats in earlier group stage matches, have played an exciting 3-3 draw in the match of the FIFA World Cup held at the Al Janoub Stadium in Qatar today.
Cameroon took the lead after Jean-Charles Castelletto scored a goal in the 29th minute of the first half.
Serbia’s Strahinja Pavlovic leveled the score in the injury time of the first half. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic scored another goal giving the team a 2-1 lead two minutes after the first goal.
In the 53rd minute, Stefan Mitrovic made another goal for Serbia, boosting their confidence level further.
Similarly, Cameron’s Vincent Aboubakar scored a goal in the 63rd minute exerting pressure on the opponent.
Three minutes after the second goal, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored the third goal, bringing the match to a 3-3 draw in the 67th minute.
The outcome of this tournament is likely to exert pressure on Brazil and Switzerland of Group G. With this draw, both the teams have earned one point each.
