As the second round of the group stage match of the Qatar World Cup 2022 is over, five-time champion Brazil, two-time champion France and Portugal have made a flying start paving their way for the Round of 16.

Out of 32 teams participating in the World Cup 2022 matches, these three teams have advanced to the round of 16 from two matches. The other 13 teams will be finalized only through the third round of group-stage matches.

France (from Group D) clinched wins in both the matches played so far. France defeated Australia 4-1 in the first match and Denmark 2-1 in the second match, paving their way for the Round of 16 (knockout stage).

France won the World Cup title in 1998 and 2018. They will play the last match of the Group Stage with Tunisia.
