Kuwait has set a 74-run target for Nepal in the quarter-finals of the ACC Women’s Premier League underway at the YSD UKM Oval, Bangi, in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia on Wednesday.
Electing to bat first after winning toss, Kuwait notched up 73 runs losing 9 all wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Priyada Murali made the highest score with 29 runs including three fours and one six off 33 balls.
Similarly, Shanthi Balasubramanian and Khadija Khalil scored 13 runs each. Other batters could not score double-digit runs.
On the bowling side, Sita Rana Magar took the highest three wickets giving away 11 runs while Kabita Kunwar and Rubina Chhetry Belbashi grabbed two wickets each for Nepal.
