The meeting of the House of Representatives has not resumed following disruptions by the Members of Parliament of the main opposition.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire is holding talks with the chief whips of the UML and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) to resume the meeting.

The meeting today of the House of Representatives has been postponed for 15 minutes due to the obstruction by the opposition parties including the main opposition CPN (UML).
Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced the adjournment of the meeting for 15 minutes after MPs from the UML, Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party among others raised various issues and resorted to sloganeering.
Despite repeated requests from Speaker Ghimire to help in running the House, the MPs stood up from their seats, leading to the adjournment.
