A Nepali youth has died in Poland after being stabbed by his Georgian colleague.

The deceased is 29-year-old Rajesh Dahal of Sakela-1, Khotang.

A 35-year-old Georgian citizen, who worked for the same company, stabbed Dahal at 11 pm on Saturday at the hostel where he was staying. He died on the spot.

A drunken Georgian citizen stabbed Dahal over a minor dispute.

Uday Raj Giri, the secretary of the NRNA, Poland, informed that the body of Dahal, who collapsed due to stab injuries at 11 pm, was taken away by the police team at 4 am (Sunday). Police have arrested the Ukrainian wife of the attacker and another accomplice involved in the murder.

Giri said that Dahal's body has been kept in a hospital for post-mortem and the family has been informed about his death.

He said that the company where Dahal used to work is in contact and will facilitate taking the body to Nepal or cremation in Poland following the consultation with the family.

Dahal went to Poland in January 2023 for foreign employment.

Dahal and those involved in the murder were employed by a fish company in the Polish town of Supsack.
